Programmatic Constraints and Title IX
Abstract
This case study explores two aspects of Title IX application in the study abroad context. The first element is institutional variance of Title IX interpretation and application. The second element are the constraints placed on study abroad providers when grappling with issues of distance, local logistics, and ultimately time. These two factors lead to imperfect, but necessary decision-making.
