Abstract

This case study examines the tensions surrounding the English-only policy that is implemented in a typical International Student Support program. The central discussion revolves around whether the policy falls in line with the concept of promoting inclusion when all international students, regardless of English language level and cultural beliefs, are supposed to be discouraged from speaking their home languages.
